However, the product claims are also as confusing as ever and often leave consumers unable to determine, between conflicting promises, which brand and product has their best interest in mind. It is therefore important to us to communicate clearly what we deliver as a brand: While they are not 100% natural, our products are non-toxic, clean, and effective. Our primary objective is to make women around the world feel confident about their skin every single day. This is a deliberate choice and means that we are very clear in our message: We value honesty over impossible brand promises and create safe, healthy, effectual products formulated to meet the high expectations of concerned consumers.

Whilst ingredients such as paraben, mineral oil, phthalates, benzophenone, and triclosan are commonly used as cosmetic ingredients, they’ve been proven to cause several negative side effects, such as chronic allergies or serious immunity issues. In response to increasing awareness about the side effects of these ingredients, several brands emerged with a focus on developing 100% non-chemical cosmetic products (dubbed “all-natural”). While safe to use, these products rarely exhibit effectiveness in improving skin complexion. Advertising campaigns have misinformed consumers, leading them to believe that any chemical is a bad chemical. Meanwhile, there are a number of chemical ingredients that are not only perfectly safe, but wholly effective, especially when paired with all-natural ingredients.
